Installation instructions for The Digital Frog 2.1 can be found in the booklet that accompanies your copy of the CD-ROM.

The Digital Frog will work best on the Mac under the following conditions:

30 MB of available RAM or more
Virtual Memory is off
File sharing is off
All other applications are closed
All extensions other than QuickTime are off

The Digital Frog 2.1 can receive updates directly from the internet.

To ensure that you have the latest updates, make sure you have an active internet connection. Then, from within the application, select Web Update from the toolbar. Next, click on Synchronize. Updates, if any, will be downloaded automatically and placed in System folder:Preferences:cache-cache:The Digital Frog 2.1..

Server

10 Mb/s network connection or better

630 MB of free hard drive space for The Digital Frog 2.1 application and media

Client Machines

Power PC 180 or better

30 MB RAM

8 MB free hard drive space

System 8.6 or better

Screen capable of 640 x 480, thousands of colors

Running the program in OS X
The Digital Frog 2.1 will run in OS X in the Classic environment. Some users may occasionally experience a memory error associated with sound files when first running the program. Quitting out of the program and re-running it will usually correct this problem.

Workbook "Upgrade"
There is a factual error with one of the clues in the crossword in the Digestive System section. A replacement of page 6 with the error corrected is below in PDF format (readable with Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is included on the CD or can be downloaded from Adobe's web site). If you require the file in other formats (Word or Pagemaker), please contact us at support@digitalfrog.com and we can send them to you.
